Session entry prices are currently £5 per person plus just £1 for skate hire if required (unless you are bringing your own skates). A family ticket for up to 2 adults and 3 children is £15 (saving £10) plus £1 each for skate hire if required. Spectators are free of charge.
Do I need to book for your regular sessions?
You do not need to book for our regular sessions, however skates are limited at our busier sessions so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
What type of skates do you have and in what sizes?
We carry high quality quad type roller skates and also roller blades in sizes Jr 8 – Adult 11. We also have toddler style ‘over the shoe’ type skates for the little ones to get them rolling too!
Can I bring my own skates?
You can bring your own skates to use at the session, however if we deem these to be unsuitable / unsafe then you will need to hire a pair of skates from us at the cost of £1.
Do you offer skate protection?
Yes! We always carry wrist guards, knee & elbow pads in junior and adult sizes, which are free of charge to hire. We strongly advise all users to wear protective equipment during the session, however Roller Energy and its staff cannot accept responsibility for injuries caused where safety equipment has not been worn.
Who's risk am I skating at?
All skaters who enter our sessions skate at their own risk. Whilst we will endeavour to make the skating environment as safe as possible, roller skating can be a dangerous sport where trips and falls resulting in injury can occur. Roller Energy and its staff cannot accept responsibility for injuries caused from roller skating during our sessions.
Can I use Heelys, scooters, skateboards etc. at the roller disco?
Unfortunately no, only roller skates or blades are allowed during our sessions.
What are the rules of the roller disco?
The following rules apply to our roller disco’s. These are in place for everybody’s safety and enjoyment who attends our sessions. Those found to be persistently breaking the rules will be asked to leave and no refund given:
- Always skate in an anti-clockwise direction around the rink, unless instructed otherwise;
- No food or drink are to be consumed while skating around the rink;
- No horseplay, bad behaviour or general misbehaving as this endangers other skaters;
- Do not enter the DJ area unless requested to do so;
- All skates must be removed before exiting the main hall / skating area;
- Follow instructions from the skate marshals / DJ at all times;
- No general skating in the beginners area unless you are a beginner.
Do you provide skate tuition at the roller disco?
We always have experienced staff at all our sessions who will be able to guide you through the basics of roller skating including; standing up, skating forwards, turning around and stopping. For more advanced skaters we can help you to learn backwards skating, jumps, advanced stops (slides), ramp skating & more.
What is your refund policy?
Once you have paid to skate and taken to the rink, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund of the entry cost.
